The Moliets and la Prade lakes are two protected nature reserves to discover on foot or bicycle. A walk of about 3kms under the oak, cork oaks and alder trees. There is also a fitness trail.
Things to see: a duck hunters camouflaged "tonne" at the water's edge and the fountain of Notre Dame, in the middle of a clearing in the forest. The sulphurous water from these springs gives off a nauseating smell, which is why it's called "Pourrut" in Gascon (from pourri in french), believed to cure skin diseases.
Second category fishing is possible in the La Prade and Moliets ponds.
A fishing permit is required, available at the Moliets Tourist office. Fish to catch : perch, roach, pike, black bass, carps, eels.
