The exterior is a trove of real architectural treasures.
The interior has beautiful stained glass windows, the nave with seven arched bays
dominated by the triforium gallery, the baptismal font, the choir, the
chapter house. 'Elegant' is perhaps the best word to describe the whole edifice.
The fourteenth century cloister is one of the largest in France. In the Middle Ages it was a place of deliberation and a cemetery.
