| The Etang de Soustons is a vast fresh water Lake, fed by various rivers and the lakes further North. In turn it feeds the Etangs Hardy, Blanc & Noir further South, it also evacuates down the Courant de Soustons (River) to the Etang Pinsolle & Port d'Albret and on to the sea. The photograph above was taken from the Soustons side of the lake looking South West. |

| The Lake has many activities, from the normal Beach activities at Azur (No beaches at the Soustons end, just grass banks, semi forest & parks at the waters edge), too fishing, Wind Surfing, Dingy Sailing & Pedalos. |
