La Villa Leihorra, Ciboure

The Villa Leihorra, built in 1926 -29, by the celebrated Architect Joseph Hiriart (you will have to excuse us for the moment while we find out what he was famous for, other than this villa). The villa is superb in all details, the design and expertise and craftsmanship of its Art Deco construction (Interior & exterior), including the position of the villa, which has an outlook over the bay. The dependents of the Family Hiriart still own it, but it was classed as a "Monument Historique" in April 1995 ............
